HMS

This page shows the data that corresponds to the HMS monitoring application. This section includes the transponder status and the attached device(s).

Monitored HMS Devices

Parameter Description
Address The transponder interface bus (TIB) address number for the monitored device. Addresses 1 to 8 are for power supplies. Address 0 is the transponder itself.
Device ID Text value of the psDeviceID (for an HMS device at address 1 to 8) or the commonModelNumber object (for the transponder at address 0).
Device Type Identifies the type of device (e.g. power supply).
Protocol Version HMS version as per the device manufacturer and model.
Software Version This is the version of the transponder's internal monitoring application.

HMS parameters

When a device is selected, the page shows the data that corresponds to the selected device on the transponder interface bus. It only shows data for one attached device at a time (Can be selected in the HMS devices table).

NOTE: This page reports the status of parameters that the device supports and for which the device is provisioned. If no alarm thresholds are defined, then the status "Nominal" is reported. If you have defined threshold values or conditions, then the transponder reports an alarm for each parameter that is outside of the nominal range. All unsupported parameters are not displayed.

Analog parameters

For all analog parameters, the tables show the current reading, the current status and, when selected, the values used for the thresholds appear in a new table. The status can be:

Status Description
Nominal When the parameter's readings are in the nominal range, the line in the table appears normal with transparent background.
HIHI or LOLO When the parameter's readings are in the HIHI (extreme high) range, or LOLO (extreme low) range, the line in the table appears in red.
HI, LO When the parameter's readings are in the HI or LO range, the line in the table appears in yellow.

Discrete parameters

For all discrete parameters, the tables show the current reading for the parameter, the current status and, when selected, the values used for the threshold appear in a new table . The status can be:

Status Description
Nominal When the parameter's readings are in the nominal range, the line in the table appears normal with transparent background.
Major Alarm When the parameter's readings indicate a major alarm, the line in the table appears in red.
Minor Alarm When the parameter's readings indicate a minor alarm, the line in the table appears in yellow.
